Studio Ovo’s design philosophy is rooted in the idea that the natural integrity of materials such as glass, metal, stone, and wood is where timeless design begins. Tactile is a word we return to again and again to describe our work. We’re interested in how materials feel when you touch them, sit on them, or brush your hand against a wall.

We believe that collaboration should inform and improve the design process at many points along the way. That means working with people who are great at sourcing the right materials for a project, and seeking out skilled carpenters, fabricators, lighting designers, and artists to bring their ideas to light. Interweaving perspectives and experiences often leads to a design that’s greater than the sum of its parts.
